Custom Pricing

Pricing is based on the total board feet of the piece. A board foot is a measurement of volume. It is calculated by this formula:

(thickness x length x width)/144 = board feet
[note that all dimensions are in inches]

Minimum size: 2" x 4" x 12"
(for thinner pieces, check our Cape Fear Tupelo Planks below)

Maximum size: 6 " x 9 " x 20"

Remember: Let us do the sawing for you. Ordering the smallest pieces suitable for your project allows us to provide the best quality blocks available. And you don't have to do any re-sawing.

The cost per board foot is determined by the thickness of the piece and the board feet of the piece.

  • $5.00/board-foot where thickness is equal to or less than 5"
  • $6.00/board-foot where thickness is greater than 5"

For example, a block that is 16 inches long, 8 inches wide, and 4 inches thick will cost $17.78 - based on the formula above, e.g., ( (16 x 8 x 4) / 144) * $5.00) = $17.78

For easy pricing on custom-sized pieces, please try our block price calculator.
